Warning: These Personages May be Hazardous to Your Health!

In accordance with generally accepted human disclosure rules, I present the proposed warnings that all Liberals should have to wear and with which they should preface their speeches, articles, books, etc.:

With apologies to the Surgeon General: 'According to generally accepted common sense, Americans should not accommodate Liberals during their adult lives because of the risk of the destruction of accepted American values, security and the economy.

'Listening to and voting for Liberals impairs your ability to safely live and raise a family and may cause lifelong economic and social problems.'

With apologies to Peter Langston: 'Liberal media can make their political favorites appear far more reasonable than they actually are.'

With apologies to Ubersite: 'Acceptance of the Liberal rant and tripe may create the illusion that you would be tougher, smarter and better situated than most people. Acceptance of Liberalism may be a major factor in getting your economic a$$ kicked.'

Who's one of those behind the ubiquitous liberal rant? George Soros. This radical leftist hates Conservatives, and has accused President Bush of turning America into a militaristic, fascist empire. He's also a vocal supporter of abortion on demand, legalization of drugs, homosexual marriage, euthanasia, unlimited Third World immigration, open borders, and a World Government based in the United Nations. How can any American listen to this bozo? He couldn't have earned his billions using those beliefs and concepts, could he?

Among other Liberal adherents to the philosophy of 'me first and foremost' [or 'damn the facts, full rant ahead'] are:

Senator Patrick Leahy [D-VT]: As Vice-Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, 'Leaky' Leahy regularly leaked sensitive, classified information to the press and anyone other interested parties as a way to undermine any foreign policy decisions he didn't like.

He remains in the Senate.

Congressman John Murtha [D-PA]: Republicans call Murtha 'King Corruption.' He was an unindicted, co-conspirator in the Abscam case. He had been offered a bribe, but temporarily turned it down saying he might 'change his mind after we've done some business.'

He remains in the House.

Barney Frank [D-MA]: Our friend Barney Frank used a gay prostitute, allowed him to move into his home, and then permitted the man to run a prostitution ring out of Frank's apartment.

He remains in the House.

Congressman William Jefferson [D-LA]: Though not convicted of anything yet, he was found to have $90,000 of bribe money in his freezer. He was caught with cold, hard cash.

He remains in the House.

Congressman Alcee Hastings [D-FL]: When he was a judge, Hastings was impeached by the House for bribery and perjury and removed from his position. Naturally, that made for a good resume item for a Democrat candidate for Congress.

He remains in the House.

Senate Robert Byrd [D-WV]: The Democrats laud Byrd for being the 'conscience of the Senate.' Among other things, he constantly chides the Republicans for being his definition of racist. He's a former Exalted Cyclops of the Ku Klux Klan. To many, myself included, he has no business being in the Senate or in any other elected office.

Still an embarrassment, he remains in the Senate.

Senator Ted Kennedy [D-MA]: 'Teddy the Swimmer' is most known for leaving Mary Jo Kopechne to drown while he got away from the accident scene to work on his PR strategy. Anyone other than a Democrat, specifically a Kennedy, would still be counting the days and years on his cell wall.

Sad to say, this 'manslaughter' politician remains in the Senate.

[By the Way: Larry Craig R-ID]: Excoriated for playing a little toesy-footsie in a men's bathroom, so it's said, Senator Craig has announced his intention not to seek re-election in 2008. He'll be leaving the Senate.]

I've left out so many Democrat-Liberal worthies. Feel free to remember your own. There are hundreds to choose from.

And beyond them are the members of the radical left, 'me too-lie too' group: MoveOn.org [remember George Soros?] bought an ad in the New York Times that carried the large title: 'General Petraeus or General Betray Us?'; ACLU; PETA; Greenpeace; Daily Kos; the list goes on.

Per MoveOn.org: 'He [Petraeus] is just trying to cook the books for the White House,” the ad said. “Today, before Congress and before the American people, General Petraeus is likely to become General Betray Us.'

The spot also characterized Petraeus as a 'military man constantly at war with the facts' who 'will not admit what everyone knows: Iraq is mired in an unwinnable religious civil war.'

Hardly accurate, and particularly simple and naive in belief and execution---trademark leftist concepts and tactics.

And re Foreign Policy: AP: 'Turkey's top general warned that ties with the U.S., already strained by attacks from rebels hiding in Iraq, will be irreversibly damaged if Congress passes a resolution that labels the World War I-era killings of Armenians a genocide. [The Democrats/Liberals are all for the resolution; basically to undermine the Bush War effort.]

'At issue in the resolution is the killing of up to 1.5 million Armenians by Ottoman Turks. Many international historians contend the deaths amounted to genocide, but Turkey says the mass killings and deportations were not systematic and that many Turkish Muslims also died in the chaos of war.'

While I won't agree with the past Turkish action, I do not countenance these constant efforts by the left to go back in history as Monday morning quarterbacks and condemn actions taken by one country or ethnicity against another---in this case to make an end-run around the Iraq war they don't understand or like. Those people condemned are no longer alive, and their successors should not be shouldered with an unwarranted condemnation. We must learn from history and not apologize for transgressions deep in the past, however horrible.

So, I wish the Democrat Congress would refrain from trying to re-write the History Book for it's own selfish purposes and get on with its Constitutional business.

All this makes a person wonder. If these Democrats/Liberals were around in the past: would we have been successful in our War of Independence? Would the Nation have survived as one after the Civil War? Would we have been successful in the Spanish-American War? World War I? World War II? Korea? I have my doubts.

We know that they destroyed any chance of saving Vietnam from communism, what with the violent anti-war crowd of the time. Besides their traitorous activities, they are responsible, in effect, for the millions of South East Asians executed after the war's end.

These Liberals are also guilty of making mountains out of molehills. Bill Clinton fired all of the US attorneys, appointing his own people to those positions. US attorneys serve at the pleasure of the President, meaning he can fire them for any reason at any time. No one made a big deal of these firings.

George Bush fired eight US attorneys, and the Liberal/Democrat part of Congress acted as if the President had committed a heinous crime against nature. They continue to treat these perfectly legal and logical firings as an act by the President to hinder justice. These Liberals/Democrats continue to drag this made-up controversy around to discredit the President. What else is new?

From David Hinckley and Tina Moore of the NY Daily News we learned that:

Air America radio host Randi Rhodes was temporarily off the air, claiming she was brutally attacked near her Manhattan apartment. The claim is bogus according to her lawyer and a police source.

'Fellow host Jon Elliott claimed on the liberal radio network that Rhodes had been mugged while walking her dog, Simon, on Sunday night. Elliot, who said Rhodes lost several teeth in the attack, waxed about a possible conspiracy.

'Is this an attempt by the right-wing, hate machine to silence one of our own?' he asked on the air, according to Talking Radio, a blog. 'Are we threatening them? Are they afraid that we’re winning? Are they trying to silence [or] intimidate us?'

It seems that Rhodes had simply fallen all by her lonesome. Nobody else was involved.

These and so many more regular Liberal lies are constructed to damage Conservatives and sway the American people to their Liberal side. How can voters continue to fall for the lies of these people? Their activities promote more danger for the US than any other group known, including the terrorists. They need warnings for the average citizen to read and understand.
