Secrets of the Deity?

The secret's out. Barack Obama is a self-professed, 'citizen of the World.' This means, of course, that the Senator's possible Presidency would probably be a UN-like administration. Obama would have more interest in the people of all countries, than in his own.

Could it be that our messianic Senator has his god-like fixation set on dangerous levels destined to put all us free, taxpaying Americans---those who have and have not supported him---on an equal or a lower rank than those billions of 'citizens' of the rest of the World? It appears so. [The sentence is 50 words; one for each state. My first idea was 300 million words {an example of a bloated sentence} to represent all us Americans, but my software can't handle all that data in one document.]

Senator Obama has already introduced the Global Poverty Act [s.2433] to the Senate in January 2007. This legislation "requires the Presidential administration to 'develop and implement a comprehensive strategy' to achieve 'the Millenium Development Goal [UN] of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide...who live on less than $1 per day."

Think about this: Obama's bill would ratify the UN mandate to the 'wealthy' countries [USA] to contribute .7% of the Gross National Product [GNP] each year. [And you know how honest and efficient the UN is.]

Now, the Commerce Department stopped reporting the USA GNP in 1992, and finding it now is nearly impossible. Today, the Commerce reporting is on the Gross Domestic Product [GDP], which is smaller than the GNP for a reason. It doesn't include the net foreign income of our citizens and corporations. So to get the GNP [on which the UN calculates mandates] I have to find the data on growth charts from the St Louis Fed.

The actual and forecasts for the period in discussion are: about $10 trillion GNP for 2000; about $15 trillion GNP for 2010. Using the latter figure times ten, we can easily estimate the GNP of the USA for the next ten years will be at least: $150 trillion. That's mind boggling, for sure. But it indicates what a huge effect the US has on the global economy. All done from the hard work of independent people.

And what is .7% of $150 trillion? The answer is: $1,050 billion. In other words, one trillion $$ and 50 billion $$. [Placed end-end, $1,050 billion dollars can reach around the Earth and squeeze all American taxpayers into bankruptcy.] But what are those figures in real terms? Read on oh voyager.

$1,050 billion over ten years is equal to:

a. 2.6 million teachers [at $40 thousand per year for ten years]
b. 21,000 corner medical clinics [at $5 million per year for ten years]
c. 53 million automobiles [at $20 thousand each]
d. 1 million Jumbo Lottery Prizes [at $1 million each]
e. 1 trillion candy bars [about 3 bars per person each day for ten years]
f. 10% of a Congress [at $105 billion per year for ten years]

And who gets to pay for this UN mandate? Well, you and I do, of course. We will be paying approximately $3,100 each over and above the increased taxation from Obama and the Democrats. Not only will our pockets be empty, we'll only know what used to be in them via nostalgia.

And who gets to dole out all this money? No one seems willing to tell me, but I believe it will be the UN. [And you all know how honest and efficient the UN is.]

And who gets the money? Poor national governments. Will they distribute it to the people in need? Of course---whatever is left after palace construction, arms purchases, military bonuses, necessary Swiss bank deposits for the ruling group, and several expensive cars being airlifted to and back from Great Britain for an oil change. Having the UN spend it directly won't be much different.

And all this US spending is in addition to our bloated funding for foreign aid and our increasing nanny-state. Welcome to the new World of the US taxpayer paying for everything everywhere, from the expenses of military Juntas to the costs of health and welfare for many populations. The funds will also be used to line the pockets of UN officials and be siphoned to rogue states. Talk about socialized nanny-ism!

You may not like to look at detailed figures, but when they represent the money that'll be coming out of your pocket, you should be very afraid. The oft spouted 'Change' will not be for the better. It will mean what's left of your wealth---change.
