More signs of the times and what is awaiting us in the 21st Century.
Many Christians in Iraq, including converts, are being crucified by terrorists says a Dutch politician.
Great Britain is considering a law to provide for Islamic studies for all students. In addition, they would employ Muslim scholars to teach Islamic theology, and the schools must have Islamic chaplains and Muslim prayer rooms,
Ever heard of Jamaat ul-Fulqra? - "We are fighting to destroy the enemy. We are dealing with evil and its roots and its roots are America," says Sheikh Mubarek Ali Gilani, Founder of Jamaat ul-Fuqra, a Pakistani terrorist organization. Jamaat ul-Fuqra has created more that 45 training compounds throught the US. The compounds, which have firing ranges and obstacle courses, are actually paramilitary training grounds for new recruits, most of whom are African American converts to Islam during their prison time. Where are they? you might ask?: Hancock NY; Hyattsville MD; Falls Church VA; York SC; Dover TN; Buena Vista CO; Talihina OK; Tulane Country CA; Squaw Valley CA. And, of course, Macon GA; Red House VA. Two are near Toronto. Some even have landing strips and elaborate bunkers.
A "charitable organization", Muslims of the Americas, provides money to Jamaat ul-Fuqra, which has officers in Tallahassee FL; Binghamton NY; Springfield MA; Dover DE; and Roanoke VA.
As long as they don't sell Girl Scout cookies, eh Nancy?
Portland Press Herald - Maine Sunday Telegram...rest...pant...rest...pant..."Students who have parental permission to be treated at King Middle School's health center would be able to get birth control prescriptions under a proposal that the Portland School Committee will consider Wednesday." [Students in the middle school are generally between 11 and 13 years old, and no notification of parents would be required.]
And Yahoo News: "After an outbreak of pregnancies among middle school girls, education officials in this city have decided to allow allow one school's health center [King Middle School] to make birth control pills available to girls as young as 11."
Newsbusters tells us - Singer Sheryl Crow wants us to save toilet paper, using only two or three sheets per visit, perhaps washing them out like paper towels.
Says Sheryl: "Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind, worth investigating. One of my favorites is in the area of forest conservation which we heavily rely on for oxygen. I propose a limitation be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting. Now, I don't want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required. When presenting this idea to my younger brother, who's judgment I trust implicitly, he proposed taking it one step further. I believe his quote was, 'how bout just washing the one square out.'"
Now I know why I have always kept my distance from Sheryl. I don't want to be a brown noser or anything.
Global Warming up? British Energy Minister Malcolm Wicks, spoke to a group of environment ministers: "humankind is in a race for life against global warming," and doubters are "the equivalent of the Flat Earth Society."
But, I thought the Earth was flat! Isn't that a Muslim belief? I mean, those guys are still living in the 7th Century, right?
From Vin Suprynowicz of Red Orbit - "There are some who, lacking the ecstatic thrill of any other faith-based religion, wish to believe that the Earth is in the early stages of an unprecedented climatic change which will see temperatures soar, the polar ice caps melt, rising sea levels flood our coastal cities - general devastation on the biblical model - all because we insist on driving petroleum-fueled private automobiles and using electricity generated by burning coal. - Now, this is almost entirely fantastic nonsense. The planet is currently warming at a rate of perhaps one degree a century, part of an ongoing cycle of global warming and cooling which (ice cores and other fossil records tell us) has been ongoing for millions of years. This is caused not primarily by CO levels - changes in atmospheric CO loading actually trail temperature shifts by decades or even centuries - but rather by fluctuating solar activity. Even if CO were a factor, most of the CO in the atmosphere comes from volcanoes and the natural processes of the oceans, not from man- made sources."
Again, 'Nuff said.
Some scientists are claiming that humans, one of only millions of earthly species, use almost a quarter of the sun's energy captured by plants. And, of course, that's tragic. I guess we have to get rid of our sun rooms, sunny dispositions, sun bunnies, Sundays, and 'sunbitches.'
According to Fox News, there's a report that fat Americans can blame it all on a virus. Human stem cells, exposed to a certain virus [no idea which one] turned to fat cells. Well, why not loose that virus on the Middle East, and we can 'fat' them to death.
Is anyone unsure about the Liberal sway of the Nobel Prize committee anymore? For 2007, they gave the Peace Prize to AlGoracle and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change [IPCC,] a UN sub-division. Lying and misrepresentation remains high among the Prize Committee's criteria for the peace prize. The IPCC doesn't do research itself, it just picks and chooses other scientists' work based on it's own criteria---firmly entrenched in the global warming fiasco.
In 2006, they bestowed it on Muhammed Yunus and his Grameen Bank, pretty much for lending money to poor Bangladeshis.
For 2005, we had another UN sub-division in the International Atomic Energy Agency and its leader Mohamed ElBaradei.
Anyone wonder why the Peace Prize keeps finding Arabs, fat people and UN agencies? None of them has anything to do with the propagation of what they ostensibly regulate.
In 2004, we had Dr. Wangari Muta Maathai of Kenya receiving the prize for 'her contribution to sustainable development, democracy and peace.' She's an environmental and political activist [Liberal] best known for organizing the planting of 30 million plus trees.
In 2003, the committee went to Iran for Sirin Ebadi or her 'significant and pioneering efforts for democracy and human rights, especially women's and children's rights. Her claim to fame is apparently being a lawyer and activist. I can't find out much about her. And Iran remains a violently repressive society.
Most of these people are probably good people, but hardly deserving of a $$$ prize for World peace. A high majority of the World population wouldn't recognize their names or benefit from their efforts.
Now, we arrive back at 2002 and Jimmy Carter. Carter was our 39th President, and barely managed to raise himself to 39th position on the best President chart. The Nobel committee claimed the prize was for 'his decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development.' Actually, I think it was mostly for his outspoken anti-semitism [a UN specialty] and ability to inspire high unemployment, general malaise, and 22% interest rates in the US during his Presidency. Other than that, he helps build a few houses [photo ops] for the poor and bashes the US in venues outside the country. His policy of peace is to allow the enemy to walk all over him and our country. In short, he's been a disgrace since he landed on the national and international scenes.
Finally, in 2001, we have Kofi Annan, the Secretary General of the UN. I believe he received his prize for his stout anti-Americanism [another UN specialty] and finely-tuned corruption in the UN organization.
Personally, I don't think any of the 21st Century prize recipients do or did much for peace. They were thoroughly Liberal, though.
Returning to the Goracle and his 2007 prize, Patrick Ruffini and others wonder what climate change paranoia and junk science has to do with peace. One would better side with the opinion of a British judge who wisely ruled that Gore's movie was littered with untruths. He specifically identified nine major ones, and "some of the claims were wrong and had arisen in 'the context of alarmism and exaggeration.'” Most intelligent Americans could come up with many other errors and misrepresentations. Global Warming is a god and the Goracle is his prophet. God [the real one] help us all!
See you again shortly.
